Go4 Cancellation Policy
Go4 Cancellation Policy, effective January 1, 2025.
At Go4, we understand that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. Our new cancellation policy is designed to create a fair and reliable environment for both job posters and athletic trainers.
Athletic trainers commit significant time and effort to confirm PRN positions, often blocking out their schedules and passing on other opportunities. Our policy mirrors practices used by platforms like Instawork, Rover, and Angi's List to provide fair compensation and maintain trust in the marketplace.
For Job Posters:
When canceling a confirmed athletic trainer, the following cancellation fees will apply:

More than 73 hours before the scheduled start time: You will be charged the Go4 service fee for the canceled position (some exclusions may apply).

Within 25 to 72 hours of the scheduled start time: You will be charged 25% of the shift cost, which will be paid to the athletic trainer.

Within 24 hours of the scheduled start time: You will be charged 50% of the shift cost, which will be paid to the athletic trainer.
Cancellations related to weather are excluded from this policy.
These fees reflect the commitment athletic trainers make when they accept a job, often passing on other opportunities and reserving their availability.
In the case of extenuating circumstances, Users may submit a cancellation appeal to Go4 for consideration. Appeals must be received by Go4 Support within 72 hours of the related cancellation in order to be considered.
Policies for Athletic Trainers Who Call Out
To ensure reliability for job posters, the following policies are in place for athletic trainers who call out from confirmed shifts:

Replacement Process: When an AT calls out, Go4 immediately relists the shift and sends targeted notifications to ATs in the area to find a replacement quickly.

Transparent Callout History: Job posters can view an AT's callout history to make informed hiring decisions.

Reliability Score: Each AT has a Reliability Score on their profile, reflecting the ratio of jobs worked to callouts within 7 days of a shift. Frequent callouts negatively impact this score.

Account Suspension: Excessive callouts may lead to suspension or termination of the AT's account.

Both job posters and athletic trainers have access to ratings that enhance transparency:

Response Rate: Tracks how often job posters respond to AT applications (via acceptance or rejection).

Cancellation Rate: Reflects the number of shifts canceled after an AT has been confirmed.

Appealing a Cancellation Service Fee
If you believe a cancellation service fee was applied in error or your situation involved extenuating circumstances, you may submit a Cancellation Appeal for review. Appeals must be submitted within 72 hours of the cancellation to be considered.
