Receiving Payments from Go4

Service Fee

All payments for shifts worked are paid out via direct deposit. While historically, Go4 did charge a 3% transaction fee which was a pass-through cost imposed by our payment processor Stripe to move money between accounts, that fee was eliminated as of January 1, 2026. 

There are no longer any service fees. Athletic Trainers receive the full pay rate listed for the job.


Payment Timeline

Before applying for a job, you will see the ESTIMATED PAYMENT TIMELINE dropdown on the Job Details page. Click on the dropdown to see the estimated payment timeline.

  • First-time payments can take about 5-7 business days to process and pay out. Generally, every subsequent payment will enter your account in 3-5 business days.

Payment Delays

It is possible that payments may take longer to process than the estimated timeline from the event listing. Some reasons are listed below:

The Job Poster is paying using an ACH Bank Account.
ACH payments and bank-to-bank transfers can take up to 7-10 business days to process.
The bank information listed for your profile was entered incorrectly.
A message is sent to the account email stating the payment failed due to an error when entering bank information. Athletic Trainers can then go back to the Go4 app and re-enter the payment information. Payments will try to deposit every 24 hours.
The payment information listed for the Job Poster has failed or is incorrect.
In the event a payment doesn't process from the Job Poster end, Go4 reaches out to the Job Poster to let them know that their payment source has failed and to update it quickly so the Athletic Trainer can be compensated.
